Dubai is gearing up for the seventh edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), set to commence on October 28 and continue until November 26. Spearheaded by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince, this annual fitness initiative encourages people to lead healthier lives by committing to just 30 minutes of daily exercise for 30 days. The program offers a diverse range of activities and events to help participants reach their fitness goals.

DFC, which started in 2017, promotes a culture of fitness and well-being in Dubai, showcasing the city’s excellent sports and fitness facilities. Last year’s DFC saw a record 2.2 million participants, with standout events like the Dubai Ride and Dubai Run attracting thousands of cyclists and runners. This year, the Dubai Ride is scheduled for November 12, while the Dubai Run will close the challenge on November 26. Both events will take participants past Dubai’s iconic landmarks along Sheikh Zayed Road. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks, including how to register for this year’s fitness challenge.
