UAE Education Authority Puts to Rest False Reports of Student’s Death Tied to Academic Struggles

Setting the record straight, the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE) has stepped forward to disprove rumors surrounding the unfortunate passing of a female student. In a recent statement shared widely, the ESE made it clear that there’s no truth to the claims that have been circulating.

Addressing the situation, the ESE pointed out that some posts on social media had alleged the death of a student due to a heart attack, supposedly triggered by academic difficulties or the stress of repeating a school year. However, the ESE firmly stated that these assertions are entirely false and hold no factual basis.

Importantly, the authority took the time to search through the records of schools affiliated with ESE but found no evidence supporting the claims made about the student’s identity in the social media posts. Stressing the seriousness of spreading unverified information, the ESE reminded everyone that sharing fake news and baseless rumors is a significant violation of the country’s cybercrime laws.

In a plea for responsibility, the ESE encouraged the public to exercise caution and ensure that news is from credible sources before sharing it on social media platforms. This collective effort helps in building a more informed and trustworthy online community.
