The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has closed a medical laboratory in Abu Dhabi due to multiple regulatory violations. The facility was found to have failed to meet the prescribed standards for medical laboratories, violated departmental regulations and guidelines, and disregarded electronic systems for reporting public health data. The closure aims to protect the community’s health and well-being and allows the lab to rectify the identified shortcomings.
