Drug Seizure in Kuwait: 16 Individuals Apprehended with Narcotics and Psychotropic Pills

In Kuwait, authorities have made a significant bust, confiscating 6.2 kilograms of various narcotics, along with 550 psychotropic pills, two firearms, ammunition, and a sum of cash. The operation was carried out by Kuwait’s General Administration for Narcotics Control, resulting in the arrest of 16 individuals of different nationalities who are now facing charges in 13 separate cases.

The accused individuals, upon investigation, admitted to having the illegal substances with the intent to engage in drug trafficking. Kuwait’s General Directorate of Security Relations and Media has assured residents that they are actively monitoring and pursuing those involved in narcotics-related activities. They have also called on the public to cooperate by reporting any suspicious activities, providing emergency contact numbers, including 112 and the hotline for the General Administration for Drug Control at 1884141. This successful operation demonstrates Kuwait’s commitment to combatting drug-related crimes and ensuring the safety of its residents.
