In a shining example of unity and inclusivity, the Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC) in Oud Metha, Dubai, stands out as the Gulf region’s first not-for-profit medical facility. The PMC extends a helping hand to thousands of UAE residents, regardless of their nationality, providing them with free medical treatment. With a team of 44 top doctors from diverse backgrounds, including Indians, Europeans, Pakistanis, Italians, and Arabs, who volunteer their services, and a staff representing various nationalities, the PMC embodies tolerance and inclusion.

This medical center caters to a wide spectrum of patients, boasting over 80 nationalities seeking healthcare services. Last year alone, approximately 22,000 patients received treatment, and the PMC aims to extend this support to 30,000 patients this year. Impressively, around 50-60 percent of these patients, totaling 15,000-18,000 individuals, receive free treatment, while the remainder includes cash-paying and insurance-covered patients. Notably, citizens of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the UAE form the core nationalities benefitting from PMC’s welfare-oriented healthcare, emphasizing its commitment to offering top-notch medical services while promoting inclusivity in the UAE.
