Dubai’s famous Deira Clock Tower has undergone a remarkable transformation. A symbol of the city since the 1960s, the Clock Tower has been revamped with a fresh look that combines Dubai’s history with a modern touch.

Dubai Municipality invested Dh10 million in this project, which began in May 2023, to enhance the city’s urban landscape. The result is impressive, with meticulous attention to detail. The area now features solid flooring blended with beautiful horticultural elements. The highlight is a magnificent water fountain with a modern design.

The Director General of Dubai Municipality, Dawoud Al Hajri, stated that this project reflects their commitment to improving key landmarks and making Dubai even more attractive. The Clock Tower Roundabout in Deira has been given a new facade with modern designs that respect the city’s cultural and historical identity. This makeover not only enhances the area’s appearance but also brings back fond memories for many long-term residents of Dubai.
