Oman’s national transport company, Mwasalat, has announced the revival of its bus services to the UAE, effective from October 1. Following a temporary suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mwasalat is now gearing up to reconnect Omani residents with the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain.

The one-way ticket from Muscat to Abu Dhabi will be priced at OMR11.5 (equivalent to Dh109) and includes a generous luggage allowance of 23 kilograms. Passengers will also be permitted to carry hand baggage weighing up to 7 kilograms. This announcement comes as a sigh of relief for travelers like Ateeq Ahmed, a businessman based in Abu Dhabi, who frequently journeys to Muscat. He expressed his joy, stating that with this service, the trip from Abu Dhabi to Muscat will be significantly more convenient, taking just around 5 hours.
