Motorists in Dubai are advised to expect delays on the Al Yalayis Interchange with Sheikh Zayed Road this weekend. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the installation of the Etihad Rail Bridge will cause disruptions. These delays are anticipated from 12 am on Saturday, September 23, until 12 am on Monday, September 25.

To minimise inconvenience, RTA urges drivers to follow directional signs and consider using alternative routes during this period. The Etihad Rail project is an essential part of the national train network, facilitating commercial freight services across the UAE and connecting various emirates, ports, and key locations. The expansion of this rail network is a significant infrastructure development aimed at enhancing transportation capabilities within the country and promoting connectivity with neighbouring GCC countries.
