Ras Al Khaimah: In a swift action, Ras Al Khaimah Police captured a group of 7 individuals with expertise in electronic fraud, just 48 hours after a scam report.

The criminals, of Asian origin, were involved in tricking people over the phone and making unauthorized withdrawals from their accounts. This operation was a joint effort between Ras Al Khaimah Police and Sharjah Police.

During the operation, a significant number of bank cards linked to people abroad were seized from the group. Brigadier General Tariq Mohammad bin Saif urged everyone to stay cautious, especially against fake social media messages posing as legitimate banks, aimed at stealing personal and financial information.
