Fog Alerts in UAE: Motorists Advised to Drive Safely

The weather in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is expected to be a mix of fair skies, partial clouds, and occasional dust, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). However, there’s a word of caution for motorists as the NCM has issued red and yellow fog alerts in certain areas of the country where visibility is likely to decrease.

Specifically, in Abu Dhabi and some other places, fog may reduce visibility on the roads. To ensure safety, the Abu Dhabi Police have urged drivers to be vigilant and to keep an eye on electronic signs displaying changing speed limits.

As night falls and Monday morning arrives, humidity is expected to rise, possibly leading to the formation of fog or mist in certain western areas. Additionally, light to moderate winds may carry dust towards the east and north.

In terms of temperatures, it’s going to be a warm day with highs of 43°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while nighttime temperatures will be around 27°C and 28°C respectively.

For those planning any maritime activities, the seas are expected to be relatively calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. However, for anyone hitting the roads in the UAE, extra caution is advised due to the fog alerts.
