Roomily , a compassionate 10 year old resident of Dubai, who is making a big difference in the lives of shelter dogs. After moving to Dubai in 2022, Roomily was deeply moved by the challenges faced by dogs in local shelters. This animal loving student decided to take action , uniting like-minded friends from her school to raise funds for these deserving animals.

Roomily and her group of dedicated students have been on a mission to support shelter dogs through creative fundraising effortsThey’ve sold homemade baked goods and bracelets to friends and family, raising over Dh800 so far. While their initial goal is Dh1,000, Romilly emphasizes that the mission is about compassion, not just numbers.

One of Romilly’s latest initiatives involves baking and selling dog biscuits. Inspired by her own dog, Ori, who loved the treats, Romilly decided to make and sell them to pet owners. Her dedication shines through as she bakes batches of 100 biscuits in less than an hour, all while balancing school and extracurricular activities. Aria and Bianca Café in Jumeirah Lake Towers have recognized her efforts and are now stocking her biscuits, making it easier for Romilly to reach more customers. Her message is clear: she wants to be the voice for animals who cannot communicate their needs, and her actions prove that even a young heart can make a significant impact.
