Rising Demand for 3-Month UAE Visit Visas

The UAE is experiencing a surge in applications for three-month visit visas, with up to 20 requests daily. This extended visa option, which was temporarily discontinued during the pandemic and replaced with a 60-day visa, was reintroduced in May as the three-month leisure visa.

The appeal of the 90-day visit visa has grown among various groups, including tourists seeking longer vacations, parents and children of UAE residents, extended family members, and those interested in exploring and potentially settling in the UAE. Families and travelers have found the 90-day visa more accommodating for their needs compared to shorter stays.

Eligibility for the 90-day visa includes residents sponsoring immediate family members and friends with a deposit of Dh1,000, along with a minimum salary requirement ranging from Dh6,000 to Dh8,000. Additionally, anyone can apply through a travel agent who acts as their sponsor, requiring only a passport copy and photos. The cost for the first category is approximately Dh800 with a refundable deposit of Dh1,000 and Dh1,200 to Dh1,400 when applying through a travel agent for the second category. This extended visa duration is particularly helpful for those who find exiting the country for visa extensions challenging.
